High Tide is just a ten minute walk from Galway or Salthill. It is a very quiet area in a very picturesque location. We have wonderful views of Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, and at certain times of the year, enjoy the sun going down on Galway Bay. All our bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilites, hairdryers and multi channel tv. Three rooms have sea views, but I have to admit that these are the smaller rooms. There is off street parking for some cars, but the on street parking is safe.

Beds and rooms were very comfortable if somewhat small. Staying here was like staying at Grandma's. Pat is wonderfully friendly and welcoming and greeted us every day with the weather report for the area we were planning to visit and suggestions for proper attire. The one negative was more a booking issue. This is a cash only establishment. We were not informed of this until checkout which meant we had to go find a cash machine for payment. BNB should make this obvious on the website as well as the booking confirmation.SSSSS

We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely return to High Tide B&B! Tidy rooms containing everything one needs, although a little bit small. Very friendly, caring and amazing landlords!SSSSS

Very nice stay, B&B very comfortable and good service. Host is really kind.
Unfortunately we got very bad weather so we could not enjoy the promenade.
Very close to a lot of entertainment as pubs and restaurants and not far from Galway city centre 15 minutes walk along the seasideSSSSS

Very good b&b and excellent hostess. House was clean and room comfortable. Location ideal, just 10-15 minutes from Galway centre and walk there beside the sea, just beautiful. Breafast as good as anywhere and hostess showed us the way anywhere we needed to go. I have no complaints about anything.SSSSS
